The repair was relatively simple and quick. The only part required was a new oven thermostat assembly and the tools I used for my model was a flathead screwdriver, cross-point screwdriver, torque bit and 1/4 inch socket using a bit driver. Bought a Thermador PRSE48" dual fuel range from Craigslist really cheap because it didn't work. Did a little research and decided to overhaul most of the top (gas) end. Replaced spark module - oven was less than two years old. Like a lot of new gas ovens, turning on any one burner to 'lite' sends sparks to all 5 top burners. The difficulty was getting to the spark module, as some generic videos show access to it from the upper panel on the back of the oven, but it wasn't there. Had to take off the entire top burner panel of the oven to get to the module, and then it was simple to replace the module by transferring the wires to the new one. I did see on... Read more

I needed to replace the oven broil element on my 15 year old GE range/oven unit. The broil element was broken in half during an oven self-cleaning cycle. Ordered new parts and replaced all. Had to slightly modify the wire terminals all four surface elements so that they would fit the ceramic insulators that were shipped with each one. Read more

I removed the oven door, removed all screws, detached the front from the rear, carefully took out broken glass, replaced with new (smaller sized than original, but worked), reattached front and rear panels, replaced screws, and replaced door to finish. Read more
