This was a problem that I'd had previously with this mixer. The worm gear, which is designed to fail (so that more serious damage does not occur to the motor), did fail while I was mixing some multi-grain bread dough. I bought a new one and installed it. I had to buy a set of small Torx drivers to remove screws holding front panel. Wish I'd known to have very small hex wrench to remove 6 screws holding soap dispenser. It was also quite a juggling act to hold the front panel on the dishwasher door steady and put the screws back in. However, the new dispenser works perfectly! Read more
