I was able to order new hinge receiver brackets for the door. The repair was not that bad. I just had to take off the lower door, take the two trim pieces off the sides and unscrew the screws holding the oven into the face of the cabinet. Then slide it out about halfway and put a step stool under the front to keep it from tipping over. The door hinge latches were bent, which made it difficult to remove the door and re-insert. The door hinge design was changed from a pin insert to a latch from the previous model. Unfortunately, the latch on the 24 inch oven is thin and easily bent, which is likely the source of the problem. I purchased spare door hinges to facilitate re-installing the oven door should I ever have problems with removing and inserting the door again. Read more

A friends family had left her refrigerator out on a porch while they were remodeling the house she was supposed to move into. A wind storm blew the refrigerator off the porch and tore the door off. I obtained the parts from AppliancePartsPros.com. There were no videos or instructions for the repair. I chatted on line with customer service rep for the repairs . You have to remove the three screws in the back of the control panel cover and remove same, but be careful no to detach any wiring. Then you can access the screw that hold in the springs. On the left side you have to remove the liquid bleach cup, which is clipped in before removing the spring. Springs solved the problem. Read more
