I changed the pump and also discovered the coin trap was wearing thin because it was rubbing against the sheet metal. So I replaced that as well. Simply open the top of the washer by inserting a putty knife (watch YouTube ) and then the front panel by removing two bottom philips head screws on the front. The whole front panel comes right off. Using pliers the spring clams holding each hose, they come off and each hose is replaced. The drain one was only leaking but since it has open I changed both and even the drive belt. This is a plastic air dome that traps air and transmits water pressure changes to the pressure switch, which controls the water level inside the washer tub. It connects between the tub and the pressure switch hose. Replace this part if the washer overfills, underfills, or does not fill at all, as a cracked or clogged air dome prevents accurate water level sensing.
