I ordered a new arm kit from AP Pro. I watched the video..easy repair. The arm spin jets were plugged just like the video said. The old washer was also worn. The new arm (genuine GE) had redesigned spin jets, they added two more. I ordered on a weekend, the order was filled on Monday and it was at my door at noon on Tuesday! This is a genuine replacement coupler for select dishwashers made by GE and Hotpoint. The dishwasher coupler is designed to connect the spray arm to the unit and provide the connection for the water supply. This durable plastic coupler is subject to high heat and repetitive motion and can break or wear down over time. This could result in dishes not be cleaned properly. The unit may also be leaking or failing to drain. In the event that this happens, a replacement will be needed. This OEM coupler is manufactured to exact standards. It is sold as an individual unit and does not include any additional accessories or hardware. The spray arm will need to be accessed in order to complete this repair, which requires a nut driver and flathead screwdriver. In the How to fix it your self section of Questions and Answers, your answers for removing the Base Spray Arm is incorrect. It states "just stick a screw driver into the base spray arm from inside the tub and turn", that does not work. Their are 2 tabs that in gauge the base spray arm with the tub. A 4 prong round wrench is required to insert from the bottom into the pump connector and turn the nut that sits inside. Read more
