Upon examination of the dryer, I noticed that the belt was intact, though a little worn and hard. However, I noticed that the belt had came of the idler pulley. So I put it back on and had the owners try it out on their next load of wash. It, once again failed to keep the drum turning. So I ordered a new belt and idler pulley (order # 8676164). Seals the unused drum light opening in your dryer cabinet. Replace if missing, cracked, or brittle to contain lint and protect internal components.
This roller support holds the dryer drum roller in place to help the drum turn smoothly and stay aligned. Replacing a worn support can reduce noise and wobble and help protect the belt and drum from uneven wear. What it does:
The new roller support wheels helped quite the dryer. The other contributing factor was the outer door frame 'felt bearing' and the rear drum ‘felt-seal’ had a lot of dust, dirt. lint and other contaminants in the fibers. It was vacuumed clean and now the drum turns much easier. In addition, I cleaned the belt and belt-pathway and lubricated the Rollers. Some say not to lube the wheels, but it helped a lot. It doesn't squeal any more. Thank you for the parts! Brian. Read more

I looked up my dryer on this website, then ordered that one. Later put it in myself. There was a nice note in the box telling to move one terminal from the old timer to the new one if it is missing the white wire, and transfer the resistor over to that, which I did and all went well. Dryer automaticly counts-down and turns off by itself now... Read more

Removed front of dryer and back access plate allowing me to see that the pipe just slipped over the blower. A small tab in the back cover was inserted inside the left side of the pipe and when I straightened the tab I could move the pipe to the right and then straight out. Replacement of the pipe was the reverse. The new pipe did not have a hole for the tab, so I bent the tab to its original position, and rested the pipe against the tab. The new pipe had a rear flange that kept it in place.... Read more

After extensive troubleshooting using the wire schematic, it was a simple igniter issue. Ordered an igniter online from another source & they sent the wrong part. Local place had to special order the GE igniter but found it on ApplianceParts for decent price & took about a week for delivery. So glad the units back in service. Complete door hinge assembly that replaces a worn, damaged, or broken hinge. Restores proper door alignment and secure closing on your dryer.
Replaced the hinge. I was so impressed with this company. I ordered the part around 11 am on a Thursday and by noon on Friday I had my part. I paid about $7 more here for the part then if I'd have used another company. I can't complain since I had my part the next day. I would buy from them again. Read more
