The root cause was the front glides. They were virtually gone, and the drum was on metal to metal. So I replaced them with a front glide kit. I also replaced the belt, rear rollers, and lint screen. I am happy to say all the parts fit perfectly, and I couldn't find a better price anywhere else. I will definitely keep you on file for the next time I need appliance parts! Thank you! I replaced the old control panel with a new one. I also changed out the door seal to help prevent the control panel from going bad a second time. It was the heat from the oven getting to the keypad on the control panel that caused it to go bad. Read more
This replacement seal restores a tight, leak-resistant barrier between mating parts inside your appliance. Replacing a hardened or damaged seal helps stop seepage and keeps the system operating as designed. What it does:
This was some repair! My SG1000 stackable is over 30 years old and was purchased second hand. I've replaced many parts in the dryer section, but besides a water inlet, this was my first repair to the washer. All of a sudden it started making a terrible noise and was not agitating the clothes. The spin cycle worked fine. I first replaced the two belts on the bottom, but when I removed the old ones I realized they did not look terribly worn and weren't the cause. Many stories on here indicated... Read more

Ordered oven door seal Part Number Y702338 (Whirlpool AP4291897) to replace the oven door seal on 30-year old Jenn-Air model S125 downdraft slide-in range. I called AppliancePartsPros and confirmed the part number, gathered my courage and asked my son-in-law to help. Thanks to another reviewer's suggestion, we placed a piece of wood about 3/4-inch thick between each of the door hinges and the frame of the oven before removing the door (to hold the hinges open and make it easy to put the door... This part is the gasket that is used on refrigerator doors. This part surrounds the perimeter of the refrigerator door and acts as a seal to both keep the cold air in the fridge but also keep the warm air out. It is white in color.Due to normal wear and tear, the gasket may become brittle and wear out over time so that it is no longer effectively sealing the door shut. It can also become torn or cut, which would also require a replacement. A quick visual inspection can determine if it needs to be replaced. If there are folds or creases in the replacement gasket, let it soak in warm water to help straighten it back out. This gasket is compatible with refrigerator units that are manufactured by KitchenAid, Thermador, Jenn-Air, Whirlpool, and Dacor. It is sold as an individual part. This gasket comes directly from the manufacturer.
This brass seal is used on range and cooktop tubing connections to create a tight, leak-resistant joint. Replace a deformed or worn seal whenever the line is serviced so the burner system operates safely. What it does:
Flip the burner facing down. Take out the seven screws that hold together the housing and the slip off the housing. Disconnect the igniter leads. Turn the burner clock wise from the opposite side your likely working. You'll get a better purchase there. Take the screws out of the old igniter, as they don't come in with the new igniter. Install the new igniter on to the new burner. Make sure that the igniter is poking all the way out of the whole in the burner. I found that the screws did... Read more
Right hand side. Used most Admiral, Crosley, Norge, and Magic Chef dryers. Includes glide and felt pad.
I took the dryer apart.....first had to clean out all the lint here and there. Took the drum out, inspected the belt and back support wheels. They seemed to be fine. In the front the drum turns on two supports that have a Teflon glide. Those two glides had been worn off with their pad so metal was rubbing against metal. Went online to appliancepartspros.com and looked up on the schematic what parts I needed. I also had called around locally and the same parts cost twice as much....so I... Read more

Found the right part at AppliancePartsPros.com, ordered the part, watched the tutorial. Took less than 5 minutes to install new door seal, and now our laundry area is no longer hot and humid. Before we changed the seal, warm air was leaking around the door and made the laundry room and the kitchen next to it unpleasant. Thanks for the great door seal and the handy tutorial! Read more
This is a Whirlpool freezer gasket. If the freezer is having difficulties staying at temperature and the old gasket is damaged or off track, replacing the gasket could fix the problems. A faulty gasket could also lead to higher levels of ice and frost build up in the freezer. This could potentially raise an energy bill because it causes the freezer to stay engaged longer. Higher levels of frost build up could ultimately damage other components. Pull the old gasket out before installing the new one. It doesn't matter if the old part gets snagged or torn when it's taken out since a replacement is ready. Be sure not to break any of the fastening clips around the edge of the freezer. Slowly insert the gasket around the outer edges of the freezer lid, inserting the lip of the gasket into the cut out areas. Make sure the gasket is held tightly in place before shutting the freezer lid. This part is sourced directly from the manufacturer as a genuine OEM replacement part. This gasket is only available individually and is not included with any other parts or the original appliance. This product is compatible with Whirlpool brand freezers.

Ordered the gasket kit. The shipping time was quick. The installation was more difficult than anticipated. The inside of the door had to be removed there were about 30 hex head screws. the new gasket then had to be fitted to the interior of the door and then placed on the outer part of the door and the screws replaced. The screw replacement took longer than anticipated as there were eight corner screws that were very difficult to manage because of the inside design of the gasket. The screws all... Read more
