Rood Cause #1: One of the front roller bearings was worn out and did not spin freely. Solution #1: I replaced the two front roller bearing assemblies (both included 2-pack). Rood Cause #2: The bottom surface of the compactor slide-out assembly had become deformed (convex) most likely due to the repeated force of compaction over the years. Removed and replaced diverter motor. Ops check good, no more leaking. I'm guessing the seal was the problem but diverter ruined (water residue) from leaking over the last 5 years??? This seal is only available if you buy the tub so followed another review - removed diverter then gently pried out the seal, cleaned and then lubed with silicone grease. Also turned the seal 180 degrees or the opposite way before reinstalling the diverter and then wrapping it all back under the counter. Read more

Well, I gotta say I was happy to find you still had parts for almost 20 year old microwaves. The microwave itself worked fine, so I hated to have to buy a new one, but I just couldn't take being hit in the head anymore; and my fix of using string and wire to tie it to the surrounding cabinets was unsightly to say the least. I'm glad I did some research and found this part - all I had to do was pop it in place and now the vent grill is secure. Problem solved with minimal cost. Read more

After removing the back cover in the freezer compartment with a Phillips screwdriver, I saw the evaporator coils completely iced up, which blocked all airflow. A hair dryer was used to completely melt the ice, which took about 15 minutes and filled up the drain pan almost to the top. It only takes a screwdriver for this repair. Remove the two screws holding the old element, pull it out of the housing, making sure the wires attached to the element do not fall back into the housing when you unclip them. Once you reattach the wires, simply replace the two screws and the job is done. I replaced the burner head. I turned off power to the stove, although I did not turn off the gas. I gave the old burner head a slight twist counter-clockwise until it lifted off the stove. I used the pliers to pull the wires from the old burner, then placed them onto the contacts on the new burner. Set it in place, and gave it a clockwise twist until it was snug.
