I had verified that the water supply was healthy, so it was either the icemaker unit or the water valve. I replaced the icemake first, based on a the pareto showing it was the culprit for most other people, but it didn't help. Removed bottom cover, located leak at float switch, removed and replaced float switch kit. The toughest part of the repair was removing the Float & Retainer Assembly (in the interior of the machine tank) which broke when I pushed it back and pulled it straight up as suggested in the service manual. Replaced both primary and secondary water valves to make sure I fixed the problem. Both valves have to open when you function the water dispenser and when the ice maker tray needs refilling. YouTube video was a great help and let me know that I had to lengthen one hose. The video showed me the exact parts I needed to lengthen the hose. YouTube video also let me know that I had needed to transfer the internal springs in the hoses when I cut the old connections off. Never would have known... Read more

Replaced the water inlet valve and float switch. Read more

I first installed the inlet pump with no results. I then ordered a Control Switch and Float and Nut. This fixed the problem. Everything comes out so clean. I also replaced the filter which allowed me to clean debris around old filter. It is also easier to replace all these parts with the dishwasher pulled out and tilted on its side. I had to pull mine out to unplug power to the dishwasher. Read more

Removed front kick plate, found overflow valve assembly leaking . When parts arrived removed and replaced overflow valve. Took about 10 minutes Read more

Removed old water valve and replaced it with new one. Reconnected wiring and water lines. Everything is working fine now. Read more

Removed burners, grates, removed cook top,took screws out from raised trim and wells for burners. Removed electric connection for burner igniters and took gas connection off of valve that goes to burners. Took out screw that holds in gas valve in gas manifold. Replaced gas connections to burners on new valves, installed new valves and trim . Read more
