Kenmore LG Refrigerator. Freezer froze up and frig quit working, Watch 3 different video on LG evap problems. Videos helped with disassembly. Once apart, fan would not come off old motor. Broke on removing. Had to order blade too. Advice, cut shaft off motor and lay fan flat and push shaft out. I replaced the heating element and all of the thermal/high cutoff fuses and thermistors even though only the heating element tested "open" (there was a crack in the element) just to be safe. Also for the "jet airplane" sound the fan housing bearing was bad. I replaced that a well. Now it works like it should and is quiet again! I replaced the downdraft fan and fan motor of my 25 year old JennAire C301 cooktop. The issue was getting the fan/motor assembly out in such a tight place. I had to first remove the fan cover, cut the wires, then the assembly came out. Putting back wasn't as tough although getting the cover back on (over the motor) was a bit of a strain. Wired it back, turned it on, and was thrilled. Now I'll replace the knobs and burners and we're back in business. Read more

Ordered fan assembly. Not difficult to install at all. Remove the back cover, remove the fan cover inside the oven, remove the motor/fan assembly and put it all together. Easy. Read more

Took photo of seized motor in place and disassembled. Installed new fan and motor. Of course I used the wrong fan and had the air blowing back into the freezer compartment. Two screws and pop on the other fan and good to go. Thanks for supplying both fans. Read more
