• Door won't open after self cleaning cycle

I knew the door latch was suppose to lock for self clean and it wasn't, so I took the back off and after tracing out wires and the linkage to the door latch, determined that it was a faulty motor on the latch lock. I got on line and Appliance Parts Pros was the first place that I found the part. I was surprised that it wasn't real expensive, but I kept looking for a cheaper price only to come back to order it from APP. Everything works great, but my Jenn-Air stove is more than 15 years old and really needed a face lift. To replace it will cost about $3000.00 to replace, to replace missing and old parts around $500.00. The water dispenser stopped working on my Sears Kenmore (Whirlpool) side-by-side refrigerator and after much research on the web I purchased the parts that commonly failed for this condition. I should have first taken the dispenser assembly apart but I didn't--it looked a little too intimidating to do twice. I am so blessed. I went online. Found the brackets. Watch the video for the brackets I chose. And lucky me. I did not have to pull the dishwasher out. The installer did not have it flush under the counter. So I was able to pull the dishwasher forward unhook the damage brackets and insert the new. Put the dishwasher back in. Two screws. Worked with phone person at AppliancePartsPros and determined problem could be either the latch motor or the circuit board. Ordered parts for both the latch motor and the control circuit board. Since a relay on the board was clicking and the motor would not budge, I installed them both and oven is working again!! Presumably because of the number of warehouses, I ordered the parts on Sunday and they arrived Tuesday morning. Great help! Great speed! Perfect matches on the parts!! Read more

I noticed if I caught it early enough the light inside would be on. I googled it and found that it could be the door latch slipping and letting the door open, which would stop the dryer. I watched the video on Appliance Parts Pros and it was so simple. I ordered a new door latch and catch and fixed it in 2 minutes! Thank you so much! Read more

Ordered the left and right latch, took off the trim ring, unscrewed the door face and removed it, replaced the latches and I was done! The reason these parts are so expensive is because they are METAL, not the cheap original plastic. Read more
