Ordered the pieces from here. Downloaded the user manual. I never work on appliances but I couldn't justify the $200 a service tech would have charged to fix a $35 part. Followed the manual and removed the door. Replaced the broken plastic pieces. BE VERY CAREFUL not to strip the screws. I did and that's another story. Very easy to fix. From start to finish took less than 60 minutes!!! Note: I did take some water and ran it down the channel where the gasket goes to make it easier to slide onto the gasket. Read more

The right door on our Jenn Air French Door Refrigerator would pop open & not fully close when the left door was closed first. Easy fix. Took two screws out of top door hinge. Lifted door off of bottom hinge. Laid door on blanket on floor. One cam part went on the hinge that was on the fridge, snapped in place. One cam part went on bottom of door, one screw to replace. Replaced door on bottom hinge then put top hinge back on. Job done. Read more

The left hinge works on the right side as well as the left. All you have to do is unscrew the little plastic post and move it to the other hole. So even though the web might say that the left hinge assembly is not compatible with your fridge, or that the right hinge assembly is no longer available, it will still work. In analyzing my problem, I just couldn't believe the door stopper and hinge bushing were causing it. After digging around, there was just nothing else that could be causing my problem, so I ordered the parts and made the replacement. I was shocked at how this completely solved my problem. I ordered the door stops (or door cams) for both the fridge and freezer and the hinge bearings. I figured I might as well do both if I'm going to do one. Very easy. Watched a YouTube video. Got a link to the site to order the parts. All you need is a screwdriver and ratchet. Done in 30 minutes. Read more

My Whirlpool refrigerator model GSS26C4XXF03 door wouldn’t swing shut all the way like it used to. So I changed the two lower cams. This cam #WPW10257203 was a perfect match but I needed to change the matching cam on the hinge, also, which require some modification to fit (I ordered cam #W11311687).
