Bought this door gasket and watched the video, very easy if you just take your time and start in one corner and go to the opposite corner. this way it stretches the seal completely into each corner. do as the video says and it will go great. Read more

• Ice maker dispenses too much ice

All it really took to fix it was to take off 3 screws and loosen one larger screw. It really was that easy but it took a lot longer to do because we took out a lot of screws that we would not have needed too. Read more

The dual inlet valve was the problem. The hardest part of the repair was moving the refrigerator so we could unplug it. The whole job took about 25 minutes and that includes the time we spent emptying and reorganizing the shelves. I love AppliancePartsPros.com. Tested the power to the unit by turning on the cooktop portion and saw that I had power to all of the burners. Turned the selector knob to broil and saw that the top element would heat up. I then turned off the breaker to the unit. I then decided to take out the baking element to do a continuity test. When I touched it, a 1.5 inch section fell out. Noticed Rolls on the top shelf no longer frozen, though the meat around it still was. Note: This is a good test, keep something that thaws quickly and is not expensive on top shelf, to act as a barometer for your freezer health! I first found a trip online to advance the defrost timer, as a failed timer is a common issue. I advanced the timer, but nothing happened. The ice chute flap wasnt closing. 1. I turned off power 2, Pulled off facia around controls on freezer door,, you have to pull out the bottom part of the chute first , its clipped in 3. Disconnected the front panel 4. Unscrewed the next panel to allow access to the chute flap 5. Removed 1 screw holding complete flap and mechanism and replaced with new 6.
