Kenmore / Sears Wire, Harness, Power Cord

I replaced a rotor position sensor switch and harness. It was a simple repair. Tools required cross tip head screwdriver, 10mm and 17mm socket, and rachet. Also had o replace 2 zip ties that held the harness in place. Prior to repair, I watched a video on Appliance Parts Pros website. It was very helpful and informative. Called for repair and a tech told me the compressor was bad by simply touching the coils. A new one would be $1200. I did some research online, then pulled out my multimeter and found the compressor was good but the overload protector was bad. Replaced it inside an hour for about $25. Read more

Replaced grid wire harness. only difficulty was keeping the grid wire tight while attaching harness to grid. Read more

• Won't start

First I checked the breaker and outlet and both were good...then I unplugged the machine, took the top off, and removed the control panel. I check the wiring to see if there were any loose plug ins, etc...This is where I figured the panel was bad (or possibly the power cord) so I ordered both. The parts arrived the next day.
