I first read some threads on the topic and figured out it was probably the ice maker. I found the part cheaper somewhere else but if it wasn't the problem I couldn't return it. I figured it was worth a little extra money to be able to return it if I was wrong and it was something else. I ordered the part watched the tutorial on YouTube , and replaced it. Replaced door Read more

Dropped light panel by removing two screws with socket set. Unplugged two terminals and unclipped the light socket from the base. Then just clipped the new socket onto the base, plugged the connectors onto the terminals and remounted the base. Total job was less than 15 minutes. Read more

Removed front panel from refrigerator door and replaced the ice chute door seal and also replaced the seal inside the door that seals against the ice maker. Read more

Found the part # on manufacturers website. Ordered it from ApplianceParts Pros. Watched a video of repair on Youtube. Fix was done n about 10 mins. ApplianceParts Pros had the part cheaper than manufacturer. Delivery was prompt. Replacement easy. Read more

Ordered replacement door seals, assistance picking the seals and speed of shipping was excellent. The installation was about as easy a job as can be, remove old seals, clean the doors and press in the new seals. With that said, I don't believe these are the same quality as factory original seals, the doors do not close as positive as the original and I have an air leak in the freezer door seal allowing condensation and ice to form. • Freezer not defrosting

My unit has a bottom freezer that is a drawer. I had to remove the drawer, rack, glides, glide tracks, and ice maker to remove the rear panel. This was a little difficult but after researching a few videos on line I learned some tricks that made it easier. I used a hair dryer to melt the ice. This is best done with 2 people having one at the back to sponge the water into a bowl from the pan to avoid a water mess. Water dispenser came down to a trickle and made a lot of noise, I changed the filter but it didnt help and thus the water tank/head assembly needed to be replaced. Replacing the water Tank/head assembly was an easy task, the hardest part is removing the covers and taking care of not breaking the insulation of the water inlet hose. The new gasket arrived in a box half the size of the gasket so the gasket was folded to fit into the box. I hung the new gasket up for a couple of hours and then just prior to installation used a hair dryer as per included instructions to soften the gasket and minimize minor wrinkles in the gasket. The old gasket came out easily and the new went in easily. A 5 minute job in total. Read more
