Connects the dishwasher sump outlet to the drain hose. Replace if cracked, leaking, or if the internal flapper valve is warped and no longer sealing.
Our dishes were getting mostly clean but we started finding really fine food particles inside cups/bowls (especially our tall travel mugs). Very long story short, the rubber flapper valve in the adapter assembly had warped and was no longer closing, so dirty water was remaining in the tub during the rinse cycle. I may just buy an extra since it will probably fail again in a few years and I'll need to replace it again. Read more
This is a plastic air dome that traps air and transmits water pressure changes to the pressure switch, which controls the water level inside the washer tub. It connects between the tub and the pressure switch hose. Replace this part if the washer overfills, underfills, or does not fill at all, as a cracked or clogged air dome prevents accurate water level sensing.

I had a problem with the drain pump on my Kenmore HE3 and I replaced it using a drain pump I ordered from APP. That fixed that problem but once I started running the washer I started getting a FH error code. I looked it up and found that it was a problem with the washer not filling properly. I pulled the washer out and found that one of the fill hoses had kinked when I pushed the washer back in place. There was also some writing on the hose that read "Change hose every five years". I know I had... Read more
Channels defrost water from the drain outlet to the pan. Replace if cracked, disconnected, or clogged to prevent water pooling inside or leaking onto floor.
I went in through the lower back of my Whirlpool bottom-freezer refrigerator, found a duck-bill end on the existing drain tube, and removed it. Less than a cup of water was released into the evaporator pan. I didn't need the drain tube I bought - and replacing it would have involved getting into the interior wall inside the freezer, which would have been a LOT more work. Most of my time was spent unloading the refrigerator and freezer before turning off the power. At least this gave me a... Read more

This is the chute component that directs water from the fill tube into the ice maker mold inside the freezer compartment. It ensures water flows accurately into the ice tray without spilling into the surrounding freezer area. Replace this part if water is leaking around the ice maker, ice forms outside the mold, or the chute is cracked or blocked with ice buildup.
