After removing the bottom basket, you remove the entire drawer including the door together with it, by using a screwdriver to depress the white clip on each drawer slide which releases the slide from body of the freezer. Once you pull our the entire drawer, you will need to drill out a rivet to remove the old slide. You will need a rivet gun to attach the new slide. Read more

The gasket on my freezer door was not holding the door closes. When the main door closed, the pressure which shifts to the freezer was popping the door open and it was not closing because the magnet had lost its' mojo. Emptied the contents of the freezer into coolers. Removed the rack shelves. Listened when the unit was running to see if I could hear where the noise was coming from. UNPLUGGED the freezer!! Checked and found the evaporator frozen causing the fan to stop working. Took the interior panels off and applied a blow dryer to the ice, once the ice melted I cut the tabs on the grommet holding the fan since everything is thin plastic and replaced the grommet and fan. Placed everything back and found no further issues.
