This magnetron converts high-voltage electrical energy into microwave energy to heat food in a microwave oven. Replacing a failed magnetron restores cooking power and eliminates cold or uneven heating. What it does:
This magnetron is the microwave's high-voltage tube that generates the microwaves used to heat food. Replacing a faulty magnetron restores heating performance and stops power-related cooking failures. What it does:
This magnetron generates microwave energy to heat food in compatible countertop and over-the-range microwaves. Replacing a worn magnetron restores cooking power and helps eliminate uneven heating or failure to heat. What it does:
This is a double oven so you must pull unit out of cabinet. After that you must pull microwave off of unit Read more
This magnetron generates the microwave energy that heats and cooks food in a microwave oven. Replacing a failed magnetron restores heating performance so your microwave can again cook and reheat reliably. What it does
Printed out and followed the online written instructions and referred to the video several times. For us, it was a two person job to safely support the front of the microwave while removing the two mounting bolts which go through the cabinet from above. After tilting the front down, lifting the back up and off of the wall bracket required both of us. Not overly heavy, just awkward. The replacing of the magnetron and diode went fine, just follow the instructions. There are lots of screws to... Read more
This is the microwave's magnetron—the high-voltage tube that generates microwave energy to heat food. Replacing a failed magnetron can restore normal heating performance and consistent cooking. What it does and common symptoms:
This was much easier than I expected. First and foremost discharge the capacitor, google has the instructions. The diagnosis was also easy, really just 3 parts, the Magnetron, the Capacitor, and the Diode. With a simple multimeter measuring the resistance I was able to determine the Magnetron had shorted out and the diode was bad. I replaced all three components which fixed my issue. Read more
The Magnetron is an OEM component specifically designed for Whirlpool microwaves. It generates microwave energy for efficient cooking and reheating.
Symptoms of a faulty magnetron include:
Causes like normal use diminish performance over time. Complex circuitry makes repairs difficult.
This OEM Whirlpool part is compatible with Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper, and Kenmore microwave models.
Troubleshot the issue and ended up replacing the magnetron. Back up and heating like it should. Read more

This main electronic control board assembly manages the refrigerator's core functions so the unit responds correctly to user inputs and cycles components for cooling and defrost. Replacing a failed board restores normal control and operation. What it does:
This magnetron is the high-voltage tube that generates the microwave energy used to heat food in compatible microwave ovens. Installing a new magnetron restores microwave heating when the tube has failed. What it does:
This magnetron is the high-voltage microwave tube that generates the microwave energy used to cook and reheat food in your oven. Replacing a failing magnetron restores heating performance when the rest of the microwave system is functioning. What it does:
This magnetron is the high-voltage microwave source used in countertop and over-the-range ovens to heat food. Replacing a failed magnetron restores the oven's ability to generate microwave energy for cooking. What it does:
This duct-magnetron (waveguide duct) directs microwave energy from the magnetron into the oven cavity and helps protect internal components. Replacing a damaged duct restores proper wave guidance and prevents arcing or burn damage. What it does:
