Contacted several local places, & on line. However none carried the part or made it difficult, which I realized they just didn't know how to look for the part I wanted. I contacted appliance parts, & they immediately found it & it was not as expensive as other places who did not stock it to begin with. They sent it right away, & I received it in less than 3 days. We had a problem with the magnetron a few years ago while it was still under warranty so they sent me a new magnetron but when the repairman showed up he had a new one also and said just keep it as a spare (no charge). It's an over-the-range microwave so taking it down takes a little bit of an effort, cumbersome more than anything. Pulled the old cover off, and snapped in the new one. Couldn't figure out how to disengage the locking tabs on the old one, so ended up just breaking them off (they're not large or strong). Read more

I looked up the problem on the Appliance Pros forum and it sounded like the magnetron needed to be replaced. We looked up and ordered the part from Appliance Pros and replaced the magnetron 2 days later when we received it. It was not a difficult replacement but was tume consuming to take it down and remove the cover to get to the part. Within about 90 minutes, we had our microwave back on duty! Read more

Replaced all three door switches and bracket. It had a break in it. Took less than an hour to fix once all parts arrived. Read more

Replaced top and bottom plastic piece between s.s. handle bar and door. Very quick and easy. A bit pricey, but worth it. Read more

Looked at schematic on AppliancePartsPros.com. Checked power, power filter, next component in line was the thermostat, found thermostat with signs of overheating, thermostat was open, replaced the thermostat, micro works perfect. Took longer to get it out than diagnose it. Read more

Pretty easy fix. Took out 7-8 screws to remove cover for access to light. 2 were security type screws so I had to run to the hardware store to buy a special screwdriver. One screw to remove the bulb. Read more
