My microwave vent grill kept falling on my head when i opened my microwave Christopher D. • Kernersville , NC • February 23, 2015
Well, I gotta say I was happy to find you still had parts for almost 20 year old microwaves. The microwave itself worked fine, so I hated to have to buy a new one, but I just couldn't take being hit in the head anymore; and my fix of using string and wire to tie it to the surrounding cabinets was unsightly to say the least. I'm glad I did some research and found this part - all I had to do was pop it in place and now the vent grill is secure. Problem solved with minimal cost.

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You
Flame was appearing around the edge of the sealed burner James Y. • Muncy , PA • November 11, 2014
I replaced the burner head. I turned off power to the stove, although I did not turn off the gas. I gave the old burner head a slight twist counter-clockwise until it lifted off the stove. I used the pliers to pull the wires from the old burner, then placed them onto the contacts on the new burner. Set it in place, and gave it a clockwise twist until it was snug. This stove originally came with gaskets beneath the burners, but the info for the replacement part stated that a gasket was not...

Range's bake element melted itself Peter K. • Blue Springs , MO • April 24, 2020
Our 25-year-old range's original Oven Bake Element melted itself. When it happened it looked like someone was using an arc welder in the oven. This seemed to be a potential DIY repair, especially after looking at the cost of a new range. So we Googled the oven's model number (GE JBP21GS2WH) and AppliancePartsPros.com was the top search return. (Way to go, SEO!) Clicking on this link brought up a web page of parts specifically for our model number with the parts sorted by popularity. The Oven...

One burner on my thermador cooktop (pcs484ccus) would not light Kinn K. • Haslet , TX • June 08, 2015
After watching a youtube video, I disassembled the front cover on the cooktop (be sure to turn off the power supply). I then switched the potentiometers on two burners. The burner that was not working now worked and the burner that did work did not. Easy to find the culprit....ordered a new potentiometer from here and though I only got regular shipping, it was actually delivered the NEXT DAY! 5 minutes, put in the new part, and all burners work. Great site, thanks for the help!
