I read that the controller and probe controlled the oven temperature. Also read if replacing controller you should replace the overlay. So I ordered all three parts and installed myself with no problem. I took a photo with my phone prior to unplugging wires so I knew the right way to plug the wires into the new controller. Works like new. Only need a nut driver and screwdriver to repair. Job from star to finish approximately 30 minutes. Read more

I googled the error code and symptoms my oven was exhibiting to determine the solution and which parts to order. I needed a new control panel and chose also to replace the overlay that shows on the front of the stove. I could have reused the old one because I turned out to be able to remove it without damaging it. I just kept it in case I damage the new one in the future. Unplug oven then remove 6 screws and back panel is off exposing 4 screws and 6 color coded wires. Replaced each from old to new, replaced screws and finished in 15 min. Applied the front cover of the control board in the kitchen prior to start so total time to working oven... 20 min including cleanup. Read more

Replaced thermostat as a precaution; replaced control board, replaced overlay. The new overlay was important, because the old one did not come off the old board completely. Others have said they used old overlay, but that would not have worked in my case. Repair was completely successful! Read more

I ordered the control panel from Appliance Parts Pros and installed it. It took me a few minutes to figure out how to unhook the 2 strips on the inside from the oven. All you need to do is lift up the back side of the clips and the strips will come right out. Install the new strips in the clips and then push down. Very simple if you are familiar with this type of connection. Read more
