This is a beige magnetic door gasket that attaches around the perimeter of the refrigerator's fresh food compartment door, forming an airtight seal when closed. It prevents warm air from entering the compartment and keeps cold air from escaping. Replace this gasket if the door doesn't seal tightly, you notice condensation forming around the door edges, frost buildup inside, or if the gasket is cracked, torn, or loose.

Fridge door seal damaged and door was not sealed when closed Jyll W. • Westville , IN • January 02, 2016
We watched a "youtube" video on how to fix a fridge door seal and even though this particular model fridge was not the same...it helped to see how to fix it.
It took me 20 minutes to remove and replace the new door seal.
The part ordered was ordered and delivered next day which was great!!
