Whirlpool dishwasher not fully cleaning or drying dishes. Andrew M. • Seattle , WA • January 05, 2020
My Whirlpool dishwasher (wdf520padm3) started leaving food on dishes and not drying dishes as well as it used to, even when I ran the 'high temp' and 'heavy' cleaning options. However, the 'Clean' LED is also not working on my dishwasher, so I was unable to read the error code after the service cycle finished.
I decided to...

Dishwasher was not heating water and dishes were coming out wet and cold no steam at all James C. • Lubbock , TX • February 15, 2019
I followed the directions on several websites for repairs. The obvious place to start is the heating coil and thermostat. I checked the continuity of the coil and it was good with a reading of almost zero resistance. Next I read that there is no thermostat controls on my GE dishwasher so I followed another webpage that said the Sensor Turbidity Assembly acts like a thermostat so I replaced that. Wasted effort as that switch sensor was OK. Normally it has a light on when it is working, a...

Since the control board was so expensive and (luckily) out of stock, I ordered only the heating element and the thermostat.
