Thermador Parts

Found replacing the switch to be doable, but it was quite a delicate operation. This was for a Thermador range with a broken downdraft switch. It required the removal of 5 small screws which could easily be fumbled and dropped down where it would be difficult, if not impossible to retrieve. Two of the screws were facing the back, so it was a blind operation to remove and replace the screws. Required an offset screwdriver, as space was tight. Replaced both ignitors. Since I was working on the range I also overhauled the final 2 of the 6 burners on the stove top. Venturi tube and jet nuts were frozen and could not remove drip tray for cleaning and access to ignitor clip. Had to drill out Venturi tubes using a tapered bore bit. Used Dremmel with cutting wheel to remove jet nut. This range has been heavily used since new for 16 years. Works like new, again. Read more

Appliance pros had the part. Incredibly, we received it the next day. They sent a confirming e mail with general instructions on how to replace it. Worked like a charm! Our's is a Bosch unit. The retaining brass nut in the center of the burner is an odd size-20 mm which I did not have among my many automotive metric tools. The local Auto Zone though had a 20 mm socket. Replaced the bake element. The manufacturer did not leave enough wire to pull the connections into the oven so I had to open the back and locate the connections. Read more

I took the model number of the oven and typed that in followed by replacement backing element.there was a photo of the element that matched the original. They provided an online tutorial as to how to install it. It was very easy because the electrical contacts at the ends of the new baking element slid right into the electrical contacts inside the oven cavity. Ordered the full hinge piece and an extra bushing. Was able just to slide the dishwasher forward a bit, lift the right side hinge off its seat and pop in the new bushing without disassembling. Fixed! I am retaining the full hinge piece in case of any future door incident but suspect I will never need it Read more

The wash arms and filters were plugged with calcium and no longer spraying. Needless to say this impacts cleaning. The replacement parts were top quality and fit perfect. This simple replacement of parts put new life in trusty Bosch. Read more

We have a built-in KitchenAid KSSC42QKS02. Unlike the other Kitchenaid or Whirlpool refrigerators, our valve is located at the bottom and towards the front of the refrigerator. I actually preferred it to be located at the back like the others. It would've been easier to get to. We had to lower the fridge turning the screws(front of the lower panel), so it would sit on the rollers.
