Bought this door gasket and watched the video, very easy if you just take your time and start in one corner and go to the opposite corner. this way it stretches the seal completely into each corner. do as the video says and it will go great. Read more

I took the new seal out of it's packaging and used a blowdryer on low heat to soften up the seal so that the crease from shipping (it was folded to ship) disappeared. Next I took the refrigerator door off, removed the old seal, & cleaned the area where the new seal would be applied. Following the video on the Appliance Pro Parts website, I re-installed the new seal and put the door back on. Last step was to snap on the new hinge cap I ordered. Took the whole dryer apart to access the wheels (4) of them, belt and fan wheel, also had to clean all the lint out that somehow builds up inside the dryer. Plus cleaned out dryer duct vent, added to the time involved. Ordered replacement door seals, assistance picking the seals and speed of shipping was excellent. The installation was about as easy a job as can be, remove old seals, clean the doors and press in the new seals. With that said, I don't believe these are the same quality as factory original seals, the doors do not close as positive as the original and I have an air leak in the freezer door seal allowing condensation and ice to form. The gasket on my freezer door was not holding the door closes. When the main door closed, the pressure which shifts to the freezer was popping the door open and it was not closing because the magnet had lost its' mojo. First tried replacing the seal around the door as that was the simple and most logical fix. Still leaked. Removed the front and upper panel to inspect. Found calcium deposit running down from under the Air Vent Assembly and wet behind the black stick-on insulation. Easy to trace the leak to the bottom of the door. => Ordered new Air Vent Assembly, gasket and Vent Deflector. Parts arrived. Took 5 minutes to remove upper panel. Removed existing gasket and replaced with new gasket in less than 5 minutes. Very Easy. Make sure to remove the lower burner cover (inside the oven) which allows you to pull the end gasket material through the two circular openings in the frame. Read more
