I took the door assembly apart by removing the 7 screws on the inner door and the 2 on the striker. I removed the hinge from the washer so that I could place it inside the door when I put it back together. This is much easier then trying to reassemble the door while the hinge is attached to the machine. Once I lined up all of the pieces properly, I screwed it back together and remounted the striker. The door was very simple to change out. I removed the 2 screws on top of the microwave and pulled the piece above the door down and out. There are tabs on the bottom of this piece that hold it in place along with the screws on top. Went online to get instructions. Removed two top screws which held door handle on. Removed 4 screws on bottom of the door which held the frame on. Lifted out the inner window portion and cleaned out any remnants of the broken outside window. Slid the new glass in and put it back together. Looks and works great! Read more
