This is a beige magnetic door gasket that attaches around the perimeter of the refrigerator's fresh food compartment door, forming an airtight seal when closed. It prevents warm air from entering the compartment and keeps cold air from escaping. Replace this gasket if the door doesn't seal tightly, you notice condensation forming around the door edges, frost buildup inside, or if the gasket is cracked, torn, or loose.
We watched a "youtube" video on how to fix a fridge door seal and even though this particular model fridge was not the same...it helped to see how to fix it.
