Online videos made this seem an easy fix. I unplugged the oven and removed the rear panel, then found where the temp sensor entered the oven. I unplugged the sensor's electric connector. Unlike the videos, this sensor screwed in from the inside of the oven, so I had to remove the 2 screws inside the oven which hold the sensor in place. • Ice maker not making ice

I used your online troubleshooting tips and watched the videos on your site. I determined my thermostat was defective, ordered the thermostat which arrived in two days and I replaced the thermostat and I now have a full bin of ice !!! • Door sweating

The ice dispenser chute door had not been sealing for years. The ice cubes on the lower portion of the ice bin would melt enough eventually to then freeze up into a big, amalgamated blob of ice due to ambient air coming up the chute. This melt-then-freeze would happen, to the extent the chute froze to its own closure. Despite service technician visits over a period of six years nothing they did resolved the issue. • Shakes and moves

We looked online at AppliancePartsPros.com under the symptoms and found it was most likely caused by the shocks. Of course there was a repair video showing how to replace all four shocks step by step, and there was a link for purchasing the four shocks at the bottom of the video. Our repair didn't go quite as quickly as on the video because we are novices, but we were able to do the repair ourselves and, once again, saved ourselves a ton of money! I searched online for replacement parts and Appliance Parts Pros had the part in stock. Before I ordered the part, I watched the video to see if I could handle the repair. I ordered the part and soaked the gaskets with warm water in the tub. The old gaskets had a much simpler setup, so no cutting was involved. I had replaced the Agitator cams a couple of times already due to my brother-in-law overloading the machine which stripped the teeth off of the cams. I also noticed the agitator seemed to 'wobble' and made 'knocking' noises quite a bit. Left new gasket on the table overnight so it could stretch out. Removed the door. Temporarily replaced it with plastic and tape. Pulled off old gasket. Cleaned surfaces with decreaser and wiped dry with paper towels and alcohol. Inserted new gasket. Replaced door. Read more

I knew for sure that the hinge with the large spring was damaged, but elected to replace both hinges and receivers. Replacing the parts was fairly easy and would have taken me less then an hour. This model has thin metal covers over the hinge assemblies. I found that squeezing in the sides of the covers help to hold them in place on the hinge while reassembling the door.
