Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Oven did not heat up to the proper temp   John M. • Hollister , CA • December 19, 2014

I put in a new oven control board. So instead of putting the temp knob 80 degrees higher than it should, I dont have to do that anymore. The best part is I get to make our gingerbread houses as gifts! Because of a great support staff that worked on sunday the two gals there know their stuff. Its nice to work with a nice and efficient co. Will be back when other stuff breaks down because when you fix one thing the other appliances get upset when they dont get any attention. Unplugged oven and removed back panel of oven, found schematics taped to back of oven. Found a relay board that was burned where upper heating element plug connected to it. Replaced relay board and then repaired burned connector by replacing the spade terminal ends that were melted. Suspect connection was loose and that caused board damage. Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You E15 error code   Ian C. • Detroit , MI • March 18, 2017

Stumbled upon Appliance Parts Pros web site and after some research bought 2 circuit boards. (UIB) Interface Board AP4501702 and ESEC Relay Board AP5780950. I carefully replaced the UIB board first and it solved the problem. Things like taking the door off can be found on the internet and took me far more time than actually replacing the board. I have never used APP before but understand that the other board is returnable. I am a very happy and future customer. Read more

It was suggested by Appliance Parts Pros that the control board was faulty. I replaced the control board but still had the problem. The wiring diagram showed an over temperature switch in series with the RTD (resistance temperature detector), since this would also give the F10 error I replaced the switch and the problem was solved. Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Incorrect control   John P. • San Jose , CA • February 06, 2016

The display of the control worked, so one might not question it but there is nothing else that would simply shutdown while heating. This part came faster than a 'technician' and 5 sheet metal screws and 4 mounting screws later, the new unit was installed. The only delay was the waiting for the oven to reach full temp to verify that it was working - it is. The parts places try to sell a new membrane panel ( adhered display cover (numbers and labels) for these but the old one can be removed... Read more

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Control screen went out nothing worked   Gretchen N. • Colfax , CA • October 04, 2014

Removed the screws that hold the oven and microwave in the cabinet and slid the whole unit out 4 inches, and removed 2 screws on each side of the oven that hold the screen in. The entire front panel can then be removed. Used a very small flat screwdriver to unplug the plugs off the control board so the clips wouldnt break. Some of the plugs are labeled where they should go, but it would help to mark where they go just in case. Installed new panel in reverse order, easier than expected. Read more
