I removed oven panel and found the fan blades had warped and were hitting the base that fan was mounted to.I turned off the power via circuit breaker,removed fan mounting screws,removed two wires and installed new fan.Reset breaker,oven is nice and quiet now. Read more

Easy fix, this was an identical match to the fan that was in the oven. The only thing missing was the foam strip, that easily came off the old fan assembly and stuck to the new one. Simple fix. Power off, remove 14 screws, lift top (use wood blocks to hold), unplug white and black wires from fan motor, twist motor assembly counter clockwise and lift to remove. Take new fan motor and do steps in the reverse. Worked like a champ. NOTE: First part arrived in 2 days but fan was shattered, called Appliancepartspro at 4 PM and had a replacement delivered before 11 AM the next day. Awesome response and customer service. Read more

I opened up the microwave where the noise was coming from. I searched the web to confirm this part could be failing and found the part name and number on appliancepartspros.com. I ordered the part on Monday and it was in my mailbox 2 days later. Two screws and two wire connectors later and the old one was out. After diagnosing/verifying the error code & problem I went online with AppliancePartsPros.com. on 8/15, I ordered a new Fan Motor, Fan Blade, and a Nut. Ordered the new motor and upon arrival, installed it. The only concern I had was that the motor I ordered was not specified for this model (Panasonic), but for a General Electric. (I could not locate one specified for the model I had). However, the specs for the new GE motor were exactly the same, so I took a chance and as it turned out, worked out well. Read more

Called a repair man who pulled the oven out pulled off an electronic contact put it back on, changed me $105 left and it was worse the next day. I purchased a new fan installed it and the oven has worked perfectly since. Wasn't difficult although I watched how he took it apart. Read more

Went online, read the repair forums and the information Appliance Parts Pro provided and the repair was actually quite simple. Interesting is how Thermador bottom panel is not a tilt down as other manufacturers but rather has an ingenious cutout (that you actually make using a standard pair of side cutters) to gain access to the motor.
