The oven was not heating, and there was no gas flow to the oven or spark. I replaced the spark igniter, but that did not fix it, so the problem was either the ignition device or the oven bake solenoid. In order to get to them, I had to cut the venturi tubes which hold down the burner rings with a Dremel tool, which was easy enough. There is no other way to get these tubes out if they are stiff or seized as you will simply twist the gas supply line to the burner if you try to rotate the nut.... Read more

Replaced potentiometers, simmer control unit, and 2 solenoids. Could have been a fairly easy project, except 1 of the venturi's had "seized" preventing even the removal of the range top. After attempting to use an "easy out", which failed, I had to drill out the brass venturi, destroying it, and the jet assembly below. Once the range top was removed, the rest of the repair went well. I removed the natural gas orífice for the top burners and the oven burner and then i set the regulator to work with LP gas. I removed the offices with a deep socket but on the front burners I had to lift the stove top up about an inch and held the assembly with a pair of channel locks because those orifices were on tight and I did not want to damage the bottom assembly by twisting them.
