Burner won't adjust heat or jumps to full power? This infinite switch restores variable temperature control to surface burners. DIY install in 30 minutes.
Being cautious, I ordered new burner controls (infinity switches) for the front two burners. I installed them and was very happy with the results. The new controls allowed me to increase or decrease the amount of heat without what you might call thermal runaway (A sudden switch to full-on). Encouraged, I ordered two more burner controls and installed them for the back two burners. I have not yet tested them extensively, but I am confident that I now have four functioning burners. This is a genuine wing nut replacement designed for use in select walk-behind lawn mowers. Although some wing nuts are considered standard hardware on lawn mowers and other equipment, this specific wing nut connects to a bolt and secures the front baffle to the deck of the mower. Over time, this plastic wing nut can crack, fall off, or the threads may become damaged. This will result in the mover assembly being affected and the unit may not be able to be used until the nut has been properly replaced. This genuine replacement part will provide the exact fit for compatible mowers. This genuine OEM wing nut is manufactured to exact standards and comes from MTD. It can be used with hundreds of walk-behind lawn mower models from the brand, as well as those from Cub Cadet, Ryobi, Troy-Bilt, Bolens, Yard Man, Yard Machines, and Huskee. This plastic wing nut is sold individually. The carriage bolt that it connects to will need to be purchased separately if that also needs to be replaced. No tools are required for this installation, as it can simply be hand-tightened into place. Wear gloves for hand protection when performing equipment repairs.
