Ordered the coupling on-line and went back down to clean up the machine. In the cleaning process I found a damaged thrust washer for the upper agitator and broken drive dogs for that same agitator. I have used this site before to fix my dishwasher, so I knew to check here first. I searched other's comments to troubleshoot my problem. Ordered the part and it arrived in only a couple of days. I removed the meat drawer and shelving unit. I unscrewed the Philips head screws on either side of the shelf brackets. I cleaned the old surfaces and fitted the new plastic hangers in place. I screwed the new hangers in place with the screws I had from the old ones. It was very easy, except the holes in the plastic hanger are not quiet big enough for the screws. 1. After hearing a loud noise on the freezer side of unit about halfway up, I started investigating what it could be? My conclusion was evaporator motor or evaporator fan blade. Purchased, Igniter Kit, Gas Valve Coil Kit, and as a precaution Thermal Fuse and Cutoff-Tml. Was pretty confident the problem was the gas valve coil, but figured that why not just replace the other items while I had the unit apart. The dryer is a Kenmore Laundry Center, model 417-99570150. Bought in 1998, so it is an older model. Not wanting to buy the newer ones that are out now. We opted to fix the Kenmore.
