Dishwasher Panel Parts

Ordered the part (surprised it was even available after such a long time). It took my wife and myself to figure out the how to do the replacement..since there were no specific instructions. We discoved it along the way and did not break anything else. Took about 15 to 20 minutes to get it done. We would have been spending $700 to replace the dishwasher had the part not been available. Removed 10 Star Screws to get the door cover off and the fascia panel snapped off. Inserted the 6 buttons and the door handle into the facia panel prior to snapping it in place. Screwed the door cover back in place and the job was done. The facia has two tabs that need to be inserted into the door. Be careful not to crack them as they seem fragile. The first facia panel I ordered arrived with with one of those tabs cracked off. Read more

Searched out and found AppliancePartsPros.com had one of best prices, and relative quick delivery. Received part in just a couple days. Unpackaged part and located correct torx screw driver. Removed 6 screws holding lower front panel. Next removed all screws holding broken mounting tabs that were from original facia panel. Removed and transfered all plastic buttons, and crome handle trim from original facia panel to new one. Attached new facia panel to diswasher door frame, and finally... Read more

I ordered both the front long panel and the lower access panel in the new color. I watched the instructional videos which were very helpful. I was very careful to remember where all the screws belonged as I took it apart. The panel required an extra small attachment to fit due to a change in design. Removed broken one and replaced it with a new one. Read more

It's an easy fix. Just remove the two screws holding it in place. Then it will be easier to remove the supply line. Disconnect the quick-connect wires. Remove the rubber hose and clamp. Attach the rubber hose and clamp to new part, attach supply line, attach wires and then screw back into place with screws. Turn on the water and test for leaks. Read more
