• Will not dispense detergent

My husband expected we needed a new dishwasher but I insisted on trying to fix it first. You need a Torx screwdriver so make sure you have a set. A little difficult to get cover back on and lined up by myself, but I managed and this was my first attempt at major appliance repair. I replaced the entire console and the dispenser. Still working after 3 loads so my husband may have to eventually admit that I fixed it. Read more

Shopped online and found your great website, read reviews and based diagnostics on similarities I saw in other peoples stories. So I was able to choose correctly when replacing the circuit board. As far as the water switch in door, and drawer parts I just replaced them because I was tired of gluing them, and knew that with everything working good again and looking good, that it would be like a Tune up for our refrigerator. Got online and searched for part by washer model number. Found AppliancePartsPro.com. They listed diagram of part. I ordered it online and received it next day with no extra charge for fast delivery. My husband attached cosmetic drawer cover to detergent drawer part we ordered in a few minutes. It fits and is working! Speedy service was appreciated. Read more

So I ordered the face plate and other parts that went with it and fixed it myself. The repair man wanted around $600 to do it. I believe kt cost around $160 to fix it myself. Read more

This was a pretty easy fix. Removed the screws around the perimeter of the inside cover of the door and pressed the outer door cover upward to release it from slots retaining it. There are four wires to remove (2 for the detergent door release and 2 for the rinse agent release). Removed the 6 screws retaining the dispenser assembly and inserted the new one. Reassembly is simply in reverse order. Problem solved for less than the cost of a service technician's call! Read more

Since I don't have all the tools or skills to properly diagnose an issue, i often employ the "trial and error" method. My logic is that the part probably needed to be replaced anyway. Flipped the circuit breaker to turn the power to the fridge off. Had to remove the faceplate to the ice/water dispenser. Had to remove approx 16 screws and unplug the circuit board. Removed water tube (That was the hardest part) ! Had to disconnect and remove the broken part and reattach the new part. Then put everything back together again. Read more

After examining it, 2 of the 4 retainer clips had broken off. My wife grabbed her tablet, found Appliance Parts Pros website, saw 2 videos featuring our exact model of washer and ordered the 3 parts to replace broken and soon to fail parts ! Replaced the water valve assembly. did not really need the dispenser part. problem mainly caused by hard water buildup where the hose connects. also replaced the hoses as they also had some hard water buildup. Read more
