Dishwasher leaking or not filling? The water inlet valve controls water flow into your unit. Common repair for leaks at the valve connection. 10-20 min DIY fix.
Replacing the inlet valve solved the problem. The old valve was somehow clogged with white sediment. Fix three flashing lights or unresponsive buttons on your dishwasher. This control panel button assembly restores cycle selection. Easy DIY repair.
After reading through a few forums, I narrowed the problem down to one of 3 issues, the door latch, the switch assembly (control panel), or main control board. I rolled the dice on the switch assembly first. The main reason I did this was my belief the door latch was okay and because the main control board is more expensive. The removal and install of the switch assembly was pretty easy for me, and I would expect for most people that know how to use a screwdriver. When I removed the old... Read more

I very seldom respond to requests for feedback like this but definitely feel moved to do so in this case. The troubleshooting advice on this website was spot on and I quickly figured out what needed to be replaced. The repair videos were easy to follow and the parts were here two days... Read more

My husband expected we needed a new dishwasher but I insisted on trying to fix it first. You need a Torx screwdriver so make sure you have a set. Still working after 3 loads so my husband may have to eventually admit that I fixed it. Read more

Fix a dishwasher that won't start or won't stay closed with this door latch kit. Straightforward repair in under 30 minutes with basic tools.
I turned off the power then removed the six or so screws from the back of the top panel. I marked the two front wires on the latch with tape so I would not get them confused. I removed the two screws holding the latch on--these take a six pointed star bit on the screw driver--the bit is in most screw driver sets with interchangeable heads. I then connected the wires to the new latach and put everything back together. The whole process took between ten and fifteen minutes. Read more
Dishwasher won't start, buttons unresponsive, or display shows error codes? The main control board manages all functions. Moderate DIY repair.
Just removed from front and the console. I wound up replacing the control board because the technician that I had come out said that's what was wrong and it would cost $250 to fix. I replaced the control board and it didn't fix the problem. After doing more research and searching out the error codes, I discovered I had to replace the console. so i did. I was able to return this control board and buy the console. That return policy was fantastic. I was so worried I was going to have to eat the... Read more
