I changed the pump and also discovered the coin trap was wearing thin because it was rubbing against the sheet metal. So I replaced that as well. It took about 15 minutes to remove the coin trap and pump and about 20 minutes to install. The shipping was amazingly fast. I received the parts the next morning. The online video to change the water tube from the solenoid to filter was very helpful. It made the project straightforward. I had to replace the water tank tube as well. It was more challenging because there was no video for my model refrigerator (Frigidaire French Door) but a side-by-side unit video provided enough hints. The hardest part was getting the tube into the tank housing. The original water tank was smaller than the replacement. It required some serious persuasion to squeeze... Read more

Pulled shelves, filter, and filter housing, removed back panel, disconnected water line. Ran new line from water tank to valve, hooked up at filter housing. Cauked the hole where the lines go through. Read more

Simply open the top of the washer by inserting a putty knife (watch YouTube ) and then the front panel by removing two bottom philips head screws on the front. The whole front panel comes right off. Using pliers the spring clams holding each hose, they come off and each hose is replaced. The drain one was only leaking but since it has open I changed both and even the drive belt. Whole job less than 1 hour. BTW parts arrived next day! Read more

Our washing machine door boot seal was getting moldy and causing odor problems. Cleaning tablets and bleach weren't helping so it was time to be replaced. While I had the top and front off I changed all the hoses that could be collecting soap scum and mold, all other wetted parts were removed and washed.
