The freezer would cool down to 0 degrees after being plugged in but once it hit zero the freezer failed to keep it there, it would warm back to room temp. I ordered the cold control knob and it came very quickly! It did come with directions but failed to address what terminal you plug the black and yellow wires into. Ordered a replacement valve and installed it. The part from AppliancePartsPro was an exact replacement for the original part. Replaced the hot and cold hoses at the same time to insure no leaks. Cold water settings now work properly again. Read more

Walk into the kitchen on 21 Sep. Eight year old Frigidaire refrigerator appears to be short cycling, controls are nonfunctional. Unplug it for a few minutes, plug it back in, appears to return to normal function. Return to kitchen half hour 45 minutes later it's short cycling again. Replaced "Ice Crusher Housing" and "Fixed Blades Spacer, both of which had broke. Read more

I order both boards because everyone said one board did not fix the problem, until they ordered the other board because the new board does not communicate with new one. Well I replaced the board behind where the error was. That seemed to fix the problem. I never changed the main board under the fridge. So I would say try ordering the board behind where error code is. See if that fixes the problem before ordering both boards. Read more

Watched the video, ordered the part, installed the new actuator with a phillips-head screwdriver in 10 minutes. However, getting the water hose back into position took another 10 minutes using pliers, this was the most difficult part of the job. Read more
