This coiled tension spring restores proper tension and movement for the appliance component it supports, helping doors, lids or moving mechanisms operate smoothly and reliably after the original spring wears or breaks. What it does:
- Provides restoring tension to return and hold moving parts (doors, lids, levers) in their correct position.
- Replaces worn or broken springs that can cause sagging, failure to stay closed, or loose/rattling motion.
- Reduces squeaks or abnormal noise caused by a compromised spring.
- Restores predictable, even movement when installed in the original mounting orientation.
What's included: Replacement spring Install notes:
- Always disconnect power (and water/gas if applicable) before starting any repair.
- Use appropriate tools and wear eye protection; springs can store tension and may release suddenly.
- Note the spring's orientation and attachment points before removal so the replacement installs the same way.
