I ordered new burner. New terminal block and new switch. Unplug appliance. Removed switch panel. Had 6 star screws and two Philips head screws. This is a large burner bowl replacement that can work with many models of stoves and ranges. Another term for these bowls is drip pan. The purpose of the drip pans is to protect the inner workings of the stove. They catch spills and drips when cooking. The stove shouldn't be used if the drip pans are damaged or missing.The main reason that the burner bowl might need to be replaced is that it has become dirty and can't be easily cleaned. I bought the replacement drip bowl - large and the rubber gasket which was delivered quickly. Specific steps: 1)turn off electricity to cook top 2) remove burner grate, burner cap and collar 3) remove two Philips head screws near center hole 4)lift out drip bowl and reach under it to remove electric plug to igniter. This is a genuine OEM replacement nut that is used on convection oven fans. This nut holds the fan onto the spindle. I took the cover off and the fan had separated from the bushing. Ordered a new fan and nut and it took all of 5 minutes to replace. This is a high-amp SPDT (single pole, double throw) switch used in the oven door mechanism. It detects whether the oven door is open or closed and signals the control to enable or disable certain functions such as the oven light or broil element. Replace this switch if the oven light does not turn on or off when the door is opened or closed, or if the oven does not operate correctly in relation to door position.
Replaced faulty latch with new latch. New latch was different configuration, but the fit was okay. The only issue was that the wires to the electric motor were just barely long enough.
