I ordered new burner. New terminal block and new switch. Unplug appliance. Removed switch panel. Had 6 star screws and two Philips head screws. Removed switch and remember to keep all screws because you need to reuse them. Also suggest taking a picture of wiring so you remember were to plug them back in on switch. All in all. Ordered a new Oven Control unit and an Overlay (ours was punctured in a few places -- old and brittle). Opened the stovetop and removed some screws from the front control panel area. Followed the advice from Appliance Parts Pros' video to take a photo of the locations of all the connections on the old panel before removal -- that was an instrumental step to the success of this project!
