Repair was really simple. Removed power from stove to insure igniter would not fire. Removed parts to gain access to 2 screws securing burner bowls to stove top. Removed screws. Lifted up burner bowl and disconnected igniter wire from igniter and removed old burner bowl seal. Worked with phone person at AppliancePartsPros and determined problem could be either the latch motor or the circuit board. Ordered parts for both the latch motor and the control circuit board. Since a relay on the board was clicking and the motor would not budge, I installed them both and oven is working again!! Presumably because of the number of warehouses, I ordered the parts on Sunday and they arrived Tuesday morning. Great help! Great speed! Perfect matches on the parts!! Read more

I checked the transformer and did not get outlet voltage. The big problem was to release the cooktop cover. The central jet holder broke and was almost impossible to release the cover. Replaced thermostat. Biggest challenge was how to feed the thermostat from the back of the stove into the oven. I found the easiest way is to tie a string onto the existing thermostat in the oven before it is removed. When the existing thermostat is pulled out the back un-tie the string and tie it on the new thermostat then pull the string from in the oven to draw the new thermostat through the hole. Read more

The white film dots would not come off the rack or the bottom of the oven. I went on line, ordered new racks and bottom pan. Followed the directions for door removal to get the old pan out and new one in. We replaced the door and all is fixed now. We saved the old parts for future BBQ cleaning! It looks like new! • Won't start

Turned out the little switches on the knob shaft had corroded and were staying on. There was constant continuity showing with an ohm meter. Replacing the switches was very easy (always disconnect power to the unit before servicing). Bought a new ignitor module as a backup as they do go out of production after 10 years or so- another cheap and easy fix if needed in the future. Read more
