First I ordered a new ice door seal, spring, and crank, figuring the condensation in freezer and door was caused by ice door not sealing. Turns out the solenoid for the ice door was completely rusted and was the primary cause, if it had been replaced early, it would have saved the dispenser board. What then happened was the moisture in the freezer door damaged the control board rendering dispenser controls inoperative as well as the heater around the dispenser. I replaced the freezer drawer gasket. It was very easy and the AppliancePartsPros video was very helpful. Removing and replacing the gasket took less than 15 minutes. The whole job took about an hour. 1) Figuring out how to take the freezer drawer out (in my case, it was 8 big bolts into the front drawer piece) and 2) the groove and sealing faces had gotten moldy from the poor seal so I spent time cleaning with a bleach solution after I took the old gasket out.
