The Blower Wheel is an OEM component specifically designed for GE dryers. It is responsible for circulating air during the drying cycle, directing airflow through lint and clothes to remove moisture. The plastic blades of the blower wheel push air through the dryer and out the vent when the motor is running.

Symptoms of a bad blower wheel include:

Slow or inefficient drying times even on low moisture loads
Strange noises from inside the dryer cabinet
Excessive vibrations felt through the dryer door or cabinet
Bent or cracked blower wheel blades
