Replaced the evaporator fan motor. On line video did a good job showing how to remove and install the motor. It took about 2 hours to remove, 3 days to recieve the new part and 3 hours to put it in. Plugged in the refrigerator and looked at the freezer temp the next morning and the thermometer was at zero degrees F with good air flow. Refrigerato temperature is reading 40 degrees F. Read more

I did not have the model number of the refrigerator! I looked everywhere, but I think it had been ripped off. This left me with the difficult task of trying to look through pictures of dairy doors and freezer shelves, armed with only the approximate dimensions of the pieces. First swapped other working burner and the problem moved. This verified that the problem was with the burner element and not something else. I order the part from ApplianceParts. The new burner connector looked different than the old one but the new one fit fine. The time to fix was less than five minutes and required no tools. Read more

Inspected the Defrost timer and it seamed to be functioning properly. Ohm ed out the defrost heater element and it also measured out correctly (mine 34 ohms). Bypassed the heater element and found that the unit would run without tripping breaker during defrost cycle. At this point i inspected the wiring to the heater and checked continuity of the wire and continuity to ground, No issues found. Dismantled the upper part of the stove and removed old part. Had to super glue plastic parts of the underneath part where the touch pad is to be attached to. Put in new touch pad. Worked fantastic. Read more

I ordered two new baffles and 7 screws. I also ordered 6 large washers. We were running with one baffle held by only 2 of 3 screws. It appears that a repairman in the past had removed the large washers and over time, the screw heads reamed out the hole, causing the baffles to detach and break. In about 15 minutes, I was able to tighten up the existing baffle and add the two new ones. I also added the 6 big washers to help strengthen this to prevent future issues. Thanks to the AppliancePartsPro, I ordered it online and received it quickly. I even used the step by step directions on how to replace the tube from the AppliancePartsPro website. Just be very careful and review the instructions first. Couple of important things: 1. Take a picture of the existing wiring and tubes before you take them apart. 2. *if* you remove the wires ( red and white plugs) from the valve, make sure you plug them back in correctly. 3.
