Kenmore Range Oven Cooling Fan Motor Assembly
Genuine Frigidaire part
By: Frigidaire
Part Number: 318575600

This is the cooling fan motor that draws air across the oven cavity and control panel area to prevent overheating of surrounding cabinetry and electronic components. It typically runs during and after oven use to dissipate heat. Replace this motor if the oven shuts off unexpectedly due to overheating, the cooling fan does not spin, or you notice excessive heat around the control panel or cabinet surfaces near the range.

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Cooling fan on slide in Electrolux range making loud noise   Michael D. • Marshall , NC • February 03, 2019

Simple fix. Power off, remove 14 screws, lift top (use wood blocks to hold), unplug white and black wires from fan motor, twist motor assembly counter clockwise and lift to remove. Take new fan motor and do steps in the reverse. Worked like a champ. NOTE: First part arrived in 2 days but fan was shattered, called Appliancepartspro at 4 PM and had a replacement delivered before 11 AM the next day. Awesome response and customer service. Read more

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Cooling Fan quite working and refrig gave an ERROR CODE CF   Michael C. • West Manchester , OH • March 12, 2014

Removed the old fan housing. Removed the fan from its housing and took the fan blade off. I then smelled the fan and it smelt of burnt insulation. I ordered a new fan and re-assembled in reverse order. Fan started up when compressor fired up. Fan was a plug & play item. Erroe Code cleared on the front and refrig is working fine. Only thing was the fan was not identical with the old one. It fit in the enclosure the same and the shaft was the same length. My old fan was 10 years old and they... Read more

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You The convection fan on my ge profile convection wall oven burned out   Doug C. • Staunton , VA • February 18, 2015

The motor hummed but the fan didn't turn. Clearly the brushes were burned out. I ordered a new fan, although I had to talk to a human at ApplianceParts because my model was not listed. The part was a perfect fit. The only problem is determining how to remove the over to reach the back, no instructions anywhere online. But trial and error eventually worked. You absolutely need a nut-driver that fits the hex head screws on the oven to remove panels covering the motor, but a cheap... Read more

Kenmore Motor Support Damper (Compressor Mount), 1 Piece
Genuine Lg part
By: Lg
Part Number: 5040JA2009A

This motor support damper sits between the refrigerator's compressor and base to absorb vibration and movement. Replacing a worn damper helps quiet rattles and humming from the back of the cabinet and keeps the compressor properly supported.

  • Cushions the compressor to reduce transmitted vibration and noise
  • Helps quiet humming, buzzing, or rattling from the lower rear of the refrigerator
  • Maintains proper compressor alignment and support on the base pan
  • Common signs of wear: increased vibration/noise, a cracked or flattened damper, or noticeable compressor movement when running
What's included: One motor support damper. Install notes:
  • Unplug the refrigerator and pull it forward to access the rear; allow the compressor to cool before working
  • Support the compressor to remove load from the mount before loosening hardware
  • Replace the damper and tighten mounting hardware evenly without over-compressing the rubber
  • Avoid bending or stressing refrigerant tubing; wear gloves and eye protection
Note: Many models use multiple dampers at the compressor feet—check your parts diagram to confirm the quantity required.

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Ice would not dispense could hear motor running   James B. • Julian , CA • April 17, 2017

When there was no ice in the bin, the auger turned, but with any ice, the auger simply stalled and could not push the ice around. Did not know where the problem was, but thought if I replaced the entire lower assembly (ordered a new motor, shaft, spring and coupler for the bottom part), that should do it. Took about 45 minutes from start to finish, but ice now dispenses fine as cubes or crushed. Read more
