This elbow hose fitting connects water lines at an angle in your dishwasher's plumbing system. It provides a secure, leak-proof connection where hoses need to change direction. Replace this fitting if you notice water leaks around hose connections or if water pressure seems reduced during wash cycles.
Found the correct USA made OEM part from Appliance Pros, and installed it on my new Dishwasher. The use of this correctly manufactured Adapter prevented any damage to the threads of the dishwashers inlet solenoid valve which is made of a plastic material. If I had forced the after market adapter onto the solenoid valve instead of ordering the OEM adapter; it would have ruined the threads on the plastic solenoid valve resulting in the need to purchase a very expensive replacement valve. ... Dishwasher leaking from underneath? The float switch kit controls water level and stops overfilling. Typical repair time 10-30 minutes.
Removed bottom cover, located leak at float switch, removed and replaced float switch kit. The toughest part of the repair was removing the Float & Retainer Assembly (in the interior of the machine tank) which broke when I pushed it back and pulled it straight up as suggested in the service manual. The Float Switch Kit (attached to, and below the float, below and outside the tank) has a folding plastic cover which fastens with plastic clips. If you open the switch kit before removing the... Middle spray arm for dishwashers. Installs in the center of the tub to distribute water during wash cycles. Replace if cracked, broken, or spray holes are damaged.
I called to ask about the correct gasket for the door. As VERY helpful lady suggested that it was probably a split arm spray. She was absolutely correct. I have used you web site for parts in the past and will always make it my first stop when ordering appliance parts. Read more

The lower basket L& R track bearing brackets on my KitchenAid dishwasher (KDTE704DSSO) finally gave out (ball bearings everywhere) after (6) years of daily, family use. The service techs provided me with all the information I needed to successfully and quickly complete my project. My parts were mailed to me very quickly and my dishwasher was up and running in short order. The parts were clean and in perfect working condition. (After pulling your dishwasher out, there are two sets of screws on... Read more
Fix loud grinding noise or poor water circulation in your dishwasher. This pump and motor assembly circulates and drains water. Moderate DIY repair.
We initially noticed the dishwasher running loud and failing to completely clean dishes. Research suggested issues like this were normally caused by either the main circulation motor or the drain motor. Over the next week the noise worsened, and it became obvious that the circulation motor had went (loud whirring noise whenever the spin cycle kicked in). I watched a couple youtube videos on the removal and dissassembly until I felt confident that my wife and I could handle the project. For the... Read more

A shout out to A.P.P.: Quality parts always come quickly and are what I ordered. No, they are not always the cheapest nor do they have all parts for everything (who does?) but their website is the easiest to use and cost differences are usually slight. I have found A.P.P. trustworthy and reliable for the ten or so purchases I've made. This repair process requires that the DW be completely free from cabinet sidewalls. For me that meant pulling the DW from its installed undercounter space. I... Read more
