Total repair took slightly over 1 hour. Would have taken longer had I not already have taken the freezer apart on a previous occasion. Thought leak was coming from icemaker but refrigerator was making ice just fine. had puddle on floor just below freezer door. upon closer inspection realized leak was coming from drain line. there were 2 pieces of tubing and the connector. leak was coming from where tubing goes into connector. wanted to replace it. didn't know what it was called. did live chat with someone I think was named James. he sent me diagrams and I could identify the part. once identified I ordered it. boom.... My fridge was too cold - everything was freezing solid, even in the produce bins. The air from the diffuser vent was constantly running. I had my grandson, as he is more agile, replace the Drip Pan. The only real issue was the removing and reinstalling the Fan module. Strongly suggest to view the provided Video a couple of time to save frustration. As not in video, you do not need to remove the water line as the whole back panel will just fold up and out of the way. A 1/4" nut driver is the only tool you need. I ordered the replacement gasket and...replaced it. One issue was that the replacement procedure was not at all like the video to which I was directed when I got the gasket. The video showed a gasket with a rigid flange that had to be inserted into the door structure. On my Amana, I clearly had to remove the inner plastic liner and set the gasket under it. I ordered a large sized bin and bin frame for the refrigerator. The hardest part of ordering the 2 parts was trying to figure out the right bin and frame to order. There weren't any specific dimensions listed for the parts, just a diagram with a grid. Thankfully, I guessed right. I got some good tips on what to do about the block of ice and how simple it was to replace the thermostat. The damper control didn't have much information on it but it's really not that hard at all.
