I ordered a new shaft and a new rotating ring. It was very simple and quick to install. I just pulled out the shaft and inserted the new shaft which snapped right in. The rotating ring just lays in there. Very pleased with the repair! Read more

A phone call to your company where a very helpful sales associate took the information I gave him including the model number of my Microwave oven. He assured me the one he recommended would be the correct size--and it was!! The item came to my address in 2 days in perfect condition and I washed it and placed it on the turntable. Replaced the Humidity sensor, Thermistor and door switches. I replaced these thinking the problem was one of the items but didn't want to trial and error one part at a time. Plus the cost was reasonable so if these didn't help I wasn't out a lot of money. I sense the door switch was the problem. Replaced all items and the microwave works great. I ordered the part from AppliancePartsPros.com. I received the part quickly; unscrewed the old door removed it and popped on the new door part and screwed it in. It took no more than 30 minutes to replace. I saved at least $300 dollars if I had to replace the whole microwave. Read more

This was much easier than I expected. First and foremost discharge the capacitor, google has the instructions. The diagnosis was also easy, really just 3 parts, the Magnetron, the Capacitor, and the Diode. With a simple multimeter measuring the resistance I was able to determine the Magnetron had shorted out and the diode was bad. I replaced all three components which fixed my issue. Read more

• Won't start

In addition to blown fuse; the fuse holder was melted at one end. Checked the unit to see if any part or wiring that would cause the issue, none was visible. Referred to wiring diagram included inside to identify components, including interlocks. All seemed functional. Bought replacement 20A fuse. Fuse holder no longer available so bought similar unit with 25A rating - little retrofitting. Put unit back together, and it's working so far. Wife is happy. Read more

Pulled the old cover off, and snapped in the new one. Couldn't figure out how to disengage the locking tabs on the old one, so ended up just breaking them off (they're not large or strong). Read more

• broken bulb

Our microwave is mounted over the range, and has dual lights underneath that light up the range. A while back in trying to replace burned out bulbs, one of the bulbs broke and in trying to remove the rest of the bulb from the socket, I accidentally destroyed the socket. We worked fine with the remaining bulb for a year or so, but it finally burned out. Unfortunately all of the replacement bulbs would only last 1-2 days before burning out again in the one socket. Unplug your microwave. Took the screws off of the bottom of the unit with it still on the cabinet. The whole bottom panel swung down to expose the turntable motor. I took the power cable loose (just pull it off). It was one screw to take the motor out. Word to the wise: DON'T try to take the plastic coupler off before the motor. Their is a tab that holds it in while the motor is in place. If you pry it up you will break it, trust me. ;) Turn the motor out of its housing and it come right out.... Read more
