Bought a new ring from appliance parts pros and lifted the turn table plate out, pulled the broken rotating ring assembly and inserted the new part. Very easy to do and now every thing works great. Read more

When the new bulb didn't want to go in, I felt around and realized the base of the old bulb was still in there. With some effort I got it out and new bulb in, Light cover fit fine, but did not come with a screw to hold it in. That would have been helpful. Read more

• Tray won't turn

When our turntable stopped rotating, I would hear a clicking sound each time I used our microwave, like something was not properly engaging in order to turn the glass tray. Even though our microwave was 10 years old, everything else worked fine. Careful placement of new screws into the inside of the outer door that now hold the frame assembly to the door secured the frame assembly to the outer door. All of the other parts I bought and replaced were a waste of money. I figured since I had them I might as well install them anyways. Easier than sending them back since I had the whole thing apart anyways. The part I really needed was no longer available, the outside door.
