I removed the plastic plate at the top of the microwave (behind the door) by unscrewing two screws with a screwdriver. I then pulled out the old filter, and placed the new one in the designated area. No tools are needed to insert the filter....just a screwdriver to remove/replace the plastic plate. Very simple. Read more

I took the machine screws out of the outer panel for the right side only. Then pull the panel back a bit to release the lips from the front of the machine and had immediate access to the internal assembly that housed mounting nut. I started by watching the video posted by couple of people on youtube on how to replace a microwave handle. After taking out the liner, I hit a roadblock with unscrewing the handle screw. The grip on the front side had basically melted causing it to be loose, so the screw and the plastic part would rotate together. After trying several things, I gave up and took it to Ace hardware to find an extractor of some sort. Luckily, the guys there used several tools and managed to get the screw out.... Read more

Careful placement of new screws into the inside of the outer door that now hold the frame assembly to the door secured the frame assembly to the outer door. All of the other parts I bought and replaced were a waste of money. I figured since I had them I might as well install them anyways. When the new bulb didn't want to go in, I felt around and realized the base of the old bulb was still in there. With some effort I got it out and new bulb in, Light cover fit fine, but did not come with a screw to hold it in. That would have been helpful. Read more
